About Arizona Center for Hand Surgery
Arizona Center for Hand Surgery is dedicated to improving the lives of those suffering from traumatic hand injuries and disorders, as well as other defects and conditions affecting the entire body, through patient care, education, and research. Our practice is unique, as we are one of the only hand groups that have multiple trauma hand surgeons on staff. Our doctor’s are certified by the American Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH), and serve in 14 major hospitals and trauma centers in Arizona and the surrounding areas.
Our mission is to:
- Provide patients the highest-quality hand surgery care delivered by surgeons with specialty training in hand and microvascular reconstructive surgery, and core training in general surgery, orthopedic surgery, plastic surgery and/or oral and maxillofacial surgery.
- Provide an enriched education environment for medical students, residents, and fellows in the areas of academics, research, and clinical medicine.
- Improve the prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of common disorders through clinical care and research.
Arizona Center for Hand Surgery started as a small office in 2000, with just two surgeons, and a commitment to giving their patients the best care possible. Over time, the practice has grown to seven surgeons.
Starting in the Central Valley, we continue to grow and uphold our mission, as we establish ourselves in Phoenix, Arizona and the surrounding communities. We treat patients who travel to see us from Mexico, California, and Southwestern Texas.
The relationships we have built with our patients over the last several years sets us apart as leaders in hand and wrist surgery, reconstructive plastic surgery, micro surgery, and orthopedic trauma surgery. We strive to provide you with the customized, personalized care you need and deserve, and ensure that it is delivered by doctors who have dedicated their careers to this specialty.
The physicians at Arizona Center for Hand Surgery are committed to providing high-quality and cutting-edge orthopedic care to their patients. To meet that goal, our physicians are actively involved in clinical care, education and orthopedic research, especially in the areas of reconstruction and microsurgical procedures. Because of the high quality of our work, our physicians are often approached by companies involved in the development of medical devices and related equipment. These companies know that our physicians can provide valuable insight into the development and improvement of devices and other equipment used to treat orthopedic conditions.
