POSITION:   SUPINE, Patient on Stretcher or his own hospital bed, Lower Extremity Drape, Sitting Stools, SCD on and working prior to induction on uninvolved leg

 

MEDICATIONS: 0.9% NACL IRRIGATION 3L

0.25% BUPIVACAINE W/EPI 1:200,000

 

INSTRUMENTS: Plastic Surgery and Orthopedic Large Bone Tray, Debridement Set (Rongours, and Curettes)

 

EQUIPMENT:   Tourniquet

 

SUPPLIES:  

HALF SHEET

Suction

CULTURE TUBE and Swabs

CYSTO IRRIGATING SET with 3L 0.9% NaCL

Lower Extremity Drape

Ray-Tech

Surgical Laps  

LIGHT HANDLE COVER

10CC SYRINGE (1)

25 GAUGE HYPO (1)

Plastic BASIN LARGE SINGLE

BIPOLAR CORD

BOVIE with protected tip

4” ESMARK (OPEN, STERILE)

4” WEBRIL (UNDER TOURNIQUET)

¼ inch iodoform packing strip

 

SUTURES: 3-0 Prolene and 3-0 Monocryl and 3.0 PDS (Do not Open)

 

DRESSINGS:   ADAPTIC or Xeroform, WET 4X4, DRY 4X4, 4" WEBRIL or 4" cast padding,  3"/4" ACE WRAP, 4" Kerlex, Jones Cotton

 

NOTES: BIPOLAR 15, BOVIE with protected tip, If Large Wound, have VAC with medium sponge in the room (Do not open)
